Highlights of the NBA Europe game between the Miami Heat and the New Jersey Nets at the O2 Arena can be seen on Channel Five on Sunday at midnight.

The live match according to Live Sport on TV can be seen on Setanta Sports 1 from 6.50pm on Sunday.

Five will continue showing one NBA game each week for the 2008/09 season but at the moment it appears there will be no other NBA basketball on British television this year.

The news, broken by basketball journalist Mark Woods in his Basketball 24/7 podcast, will come as no surprise to NBA fans in Britain who had to be content with a similar arrangement last year.

It appears once again NBA League Pass on the internet, or DVDs from Pontel may be the best way for viewers to get their NBA fix.
